Eva has experience working creatively with clients to explore ideas and practicalities around creating content, video design and filming as well as immersive and interactive environments and experiences using new technologies with projection design.
Eva Auster is video and multimedia designer with over 14 years experience working with various companies and directors both in the UK and internationally, creating visual content for live performances, theatre, dance, installations and events, as well as working as a digital producer and media technician.
Trained in Theatre Studies, Eva completed her BA (Hons) degree in 2005, then obtained her MA degree in Visual Media Design from the Central School of Speech and Drama in 2008. She has specialist knowledge and experience using projections, filming and content creation for design, as well as knowledge of various video equipment and technologies and specialist AV operating systems. Eva is a creative collaborator, able to generate innovative new ideas and successfully manage projects from start to finish including design conceptualisation, realisation and execution. She is passionate about visual media and the arts and enjoys working with others to create modern and contemporary work.
Her recent work of Eleven Reflections on September with Art2Action has just won Best Experimental Feature Film at the Silk Road Cannes Film Festival, as well as an Award of Recognition at the IndieFest Film Awards, Canada.
Eva is currently working with Diverse Interactive as a Creative Producer on placement as one of 50 creatives selected by StoryFutures for StoryTrails – the U.Ks largest immersive storytelling archive project. These unique virtual and augmented experiences are commissioned as part of UNBOXED2022 festival.
Eva is also currently enrolled on the Professional Diploma in UX Design at the UX Design Institute.
